Ian has a degree in General Practice Surveying from Northumbria University. He began his career with the Noble Organisation - then the largest leisure operator in the UK- negotiating diverse acquisitions, including high street and out of town properties across the whole of the UK.
Ian started Davison Blackett 13 years ago, and his wide experience has seen him retained by Bass, Scottish and Newcastle Retail and Tesco, the UK's largest supermarket operator, acquiring sites throughout the North of England. He has also acquired sites for Persimmon Homes and acted for a number of large property developers on residential, leisure and mixed use schemes throughout the region. Recently Ian and Peter have been retained by Bellway Homes Limited to assist their Northern Divisions with their commercial portfolio. This includes Scotland, The North East, North West, Yorkshire, East and West Midlands and Wales Divisions.
